POSITION SUMMARY
As the Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO and Board of Directors, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide administrative support and serve as a key liaison to the board. This highly visible position requires professionalism, relationship-building skills, and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our growing organization.

This is a full-time, exempt position located in Los Angeles. Occasional travel within the state and flexibility with working hours may be required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and manage a range of initiatives led by the CEO.
- Coordinate the CEO's calendar and daily workflow, ensuring optimal use of time.
- Schedule and organize internal and external meetings, including logistics, preparation materials, and follow-up.
- Screen, prioritize, and respond to calls and correspondence, serving as the first point of contact for staff, board members, and external partners.
- Arrange travel accommodations for the CEO and board members.
- Assist the board and board committees by scheduling meetings, compiling materials, taking minutes, and maintaining corporate documents.
- Plan and coordinate logistical arrangements for board and committee meetings.
- Compose, edit, design, and format documents.
- Prepare expense reports for reimbursement.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for the CEO's office and the board of directors.

QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as an executive assistant, demonstrating proficiency in this role.
- Prior experience providing support to boards, committees, or similar work groups.
- Minimum of five years of project and initiative management experience.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Experience drafting agendas, presentations, reports, and correspondence on behalf of senior executives.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint) and Adobe (Acrobat DC), with an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Flexibility to participate in occasional meetings and events outside of core business hours.
- Enthusiasm for traveling throughout [State] and engaging with diverse communities (estimated at 5-10% travel).

COMPENSATION
In addition to a positive and flexible work culture, we offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain exceptional talent. Our salary ranges are set based on an explicit compensation policy and analysis of relevant market data. The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $62,000-$65,000.
